Baltimore National Aquarium
The seventh grade team entered a partnership with the Baltimore National Aquarium during the 2014-2015 school year. The partnership was created to help in the restoration of Atlantic White Cedars at the Nassawango Nature Preserve. The conservation team from the Aquarium traveled to Snow Hill twice to work with the students. The first trip occurred in the fall when they helped the students set up a a nursery on school grounds for the trees to winter over. During the spring, the conservation team joined the students at the Nassawango Nature Preserve to plant the trees.
Due to the success of the program the first year, it was decided by both parties to continue the partnership for school year 2015-2016. The seventh grade teachers have incorporated this activity into their service learning project. Their hope is that this partnership continues for many more years.

Assateague Island State Park
All sixth grade students participate in a two day MWEE at Assateague Island State Park. The students cycle through stations that revolve around a common theme "Shipwreck!". The premise is that the students were aboard a ship in the 1700s that became shipwrecked on Assateague during a storm. The students participate in a variety of activities that are facilitated by State Park employees. The stations are split into two areas: the beach and the bay.
On the beach the students participate in surf fishing, shelter building and beach erosion. While on the bayside, the students canoe, crab and explore the flora and fauna of the bay environment. Each station is facilitated by a park employee and a classroom teacher. To prepare the teachers, they participate in a one day professional development each year at the park.
